The UNDP-GEF Kura Project is proud to announce the development of the IWRM Masters Curriculum Initiative for the Kura Basin with Partner Universities:

Baku State University in Azerbaijan,

Tbilisi State University in Georgia, and

Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction in Armenia


Working with the administration and selected professors from these distinguished universities the UNDP-GEF Kura Project is supporting the development of the curriculum and currently seeking additional international partners to make this initiative a sustainable reality for improving transboundary water management in the Kura Basin.

  1. Gathering current courses and curriculum from universities

  2. Meeting with the UNDP-GEF Project Senior Experts at each University to discuss the specific needs for a robust and sustainable Project

  3. Meeting with other potential partner universities and institutions to share experiences and build on existing success

  4. Meeting with potential funding partners to invest in this vital and sustainable effort.
